Earned Level

Earned levels are adjusted based on the score that is earned on exams. Thresholds are defined on an exam basis that determines whether a score qualifies for the earned level to be adjusted. If the score is less than the lower threshold, then the earned level will be reduced. If the score is above the higher threshold, then the earned level will be increased. Scores between the low and high thresholds result in the earned level remaining constant. The goal is to provide you with the correct level of difficulty of questions based upon how well you score.

There are a few things that could disqualify the exam from counting towards a level adjustment. If you are starting a new exam the “Standard Exam” box must be checked in order for the exam to count. For previously taken exams, you must resume the original exam, and not a duplicate, in order for the exam to count. (See the “Previously Taken Exams Explanation” below for more details on this.)

Menus don't display properly (IE 8 Issues)

Our menu system does not display properly under Internet Explorer 8. You will see empty boxes where the rest of the menu options should be. In order to see these menu items you will need to switch your browser to compatibility mode. This can be accomplished by clicking the button at the end of the address bar that looks like a torn piece of paper.

Register for more courses

Existing customers can register for additional courses, or renew their subscription, by logging in and selecting the “Get More Courses” item from the “My Account” menu. This will take you to the registration screen with most of your information pre-populated. In order to complete the process, simply select the course that you want and then enter your password and credit card information.

What are the Plus subscriptions?

ADAPT provides an exam guarantee for customers who purchase multiple month subscriptions. These are the “Plus” subscriptions (Exam 1/P+). For example, if you purchased the two month subscription for P (Exam 1/P+) and you failed the exam, we will extend your subscription for another two months. This is a one time extension. In order to apply the guarantee, contact us by e-mailing proof that you are registered for the next exam. We will extend the expiration date of your subscription by the appropriate amount.

For FM2, the multi-month subscription is for 3 months so the guarantee would extend your subscription for an additional 3 months. There are no guarantees for any of the one month purchases.

Previously Taken Exams Explanation

The previously taken exams page works in two ways. First, it lets you resume an exam that hasn’t been completed. Second, it lets you create a duplicate of and already taken exam for study purposes.

To resume an exam, select the exam you want from the first box and the date/time stamp from the second box and click start exam. If you want to just create a duplicate exam, simply select the exam that you want from the first box and click start exam.
